A very comfortable B&B Inn on the outskirts of town - quiet, peaceful with lovely swimming pool, hot tub and formal gardens on 8 acres of land.  Enjoy our full breakfast then take our Breezer 8-speed touring bikes to explore this area or the 8 mile run over to the ferry landing to cross the Tred Avon River over to Oxford. Our guest bedrooms have 40" flat screen TV's with Dolby Surround-Sound systems in the King Jacuzzi rooms for viewing Blue-Ray DVD movies.  Unlike some other inns in this area, we DO NOT charge a resort fee (can be $25 or more per night),

In the last 50 years, St. Michaels has become a major destination for boaters and travelers in the Mid-Atlantic area with many fine inns, retail shops, marinas and restaurants. See TripAdvisor.com for the latest guest reviews of our inn!

Covid-19 Free B&B

COVID- 19 Free B&B

We have implemented the "SAFE STAY" guidelines published on April 27th by the American Hotel and Lodging Association to protect guests and staff from the COVID-19 virus.  We have removed bed comforters, pillow shams and decorative pillows to provide a sanitized environment.  We are still serving a delicious breakfast with 6-foot separation between couples.  The incidence of infected people in Talbot County is the lowest in the State of Maryland.  Our local restaurants are providing take-out food, outdoor dining plus limited indoor dining starting June 12th.  Our pool and hot tub are open with bikes available for touring this area or the excursion over to Oxford via the ferry.
We also own the Parsonage Inn (circa 1883) at the NW end of the historic district.  A stunning brick Victorian with beautiful chimneys, steeple and various brick inlays with Eastlake style trim on the porches.  Henry Clay Dodson owned the St. Michaels brick yard at the end of Dodson Avenue and this house was the "showplace" for exquisite brick detailing.

This inn provides 8 guest bedrooms with private bathrooms along with a parlor, dining room plus porches and upstairs deck..  Our "sister B&B Inn" is about 1/2 mile away from the George Brooks House B&B .  So if you want to be "in town, click here or on the photo of the Parsonage Inn to go to that web site.  Same ownership, great innkeeper (Melissa) and gourmet breakfasts

We certainly discovered the Best of the Bay!
Shannon Zimmerman, Sept. 2008
The place was beautiful, the rooms clean with all the amenities, and the gardens wonderful. There is no other place for us to stay when visiting St. Michaels in the future except the George Brooks House!
