No children or pets unless arranged in advance with the innkeeper (Extra fees may apply). If you are bringing a dog, only certain rooms are "pet friendly" on the first floor and you must bring a pet carrier if you leave your dog in your room. Our rooms are designed for two adults (one Queen or King bed) with some rooms large enough for an inflatable mattress that can slide under the bed . . . subject to an extra person charge for the 3rd person. We DO NOT charge a RESORT FEE or other "hidden fees" unlike other inns in this area - which can exceed $25 per night!
We prepare breakfast in advance and serve the same fruit and entree to our guests unless you have dietary restrictions. Please note any dietary restrictions on your reservation or discuss with the innkeeper when you check-in.
Our Inn is Smoke-Free! (smoking outside away from other guests). We have "gone Green" with environmentally sensitive practices - reuse towels or replace, plus recycling of bottles, cans and newspapers . . we ask for your participation by hanging up towels to dry to conserve water and laundry detergent. During the pandemic, we do not go into your room to change towels or empty the trash.. If you need fresh towels or other housekeeping services, let the innkeeper know.
Cancellations or rescheduling is accepted if made at least 14 days before your arrival date. There is a fee of $25 to cover credit card processing fees and administrative costs on all cancellations. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than fourteen (14) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, you are responsible for your entire reservation. If we can re-book the room(s), a partial refund will be made based on what we can recover. If your state imposes COVID-19 restrictions for travel to Maryland, than you will be released from your reservation. We can release you from your reservation for valid COVID-19 exposure or positive test results.
For group events like weddings or family reunions where you book 4 or more rooms, we require a 60 day cancellation notice. When making a reservation, we need your credit card info (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or AmEx) to secure your reservation . . where we charge a 50% deposit. At check-in. we can bill the other 50% on your credit card on file. Or you can pay by cash, check or another credit or debit card.
Our swimming pool is open from late May until late September, and our hot tub is open from late April until the end of October. We have several lovable cats on site but not in guest bedrooms . . . please advise us if you are allergic to cats! Two night minimum stay most weekends (except late fall and winter weekends) and during the week in the summer.
